Hello everyone,

Here is a sketch I was doing just for fun, with a little of the process. Line, value blockin of big forms, then smaller forms, and then color overlay, into more opaque paint on top.

Hope you enjoy.

Hello everyone!

Here is a hearthstone card I did this year for the latest expansion pack.  Hope you like.  Art director was Jeremy Cranford.

Hello everyone.  Just thought I would post a demon sketch I worked on over the break.  Trying out some new brushes I got from imagine fx, really like them, they have some good grit to them I feel, and add that vibration that lacks a lot with digital.

Done in photoshop, light sketch, basic values, with a soft light hitting on the forward forms, with a rim light to pop him off the background.

Hope you like!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Everyone!

Here is the concept I did for Yrel.  I wanted her to have a Joan of Arc kind of feel, so I went with a solid breastplate over the armor bra that occurs most of the time.  I really liked working on this character, was a lot of fun.

The idea for this character came from one of our designers named Helen Cheng.  When she told me she wanted a strong female lead in the game, I jumped at the chance to help.  Hope you all like her.

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to post up a piece I did for Blizzcon.  This design went on shirts as well.  Which was a life long dream of mine to see something I did on an official Blizzard shirt.  I wish I had a little more time on this piece, and still would like to tighten up a lot of it.  Learned a lot during this piece as well.  Like never move onto rendering when your composition is still rough lol.

Anyway, here it is! Hope you enjoy.

Hello everyone!

Here is a loading screen I did for MOP. Half pencil and half digital.  One of the many things about working on the wow team that's awesome.  We have a wide range of styles and mediums that we're allowed to use. Not a lot of other companies let you do that.

Till next time!

Hello everyone!

Another Copic Marker/acrylic sketch.  This one is of a bunch of tree people dudes.  Like a form of treant.  I find that working with markers has really helped me isolate my values a lot more to the big choice that I should make for whichever part im working on.  If you haven't worked with the medium before, its a  lot of fun and worth a shot!

Till next time!
